Every blues dance in Toronto has some sort of beginner drop-in lesson before the dance. We currently hold a dance every second and fourth friday of the month!

Blues 2.0 – A Crash Course in Slow Drag Blues – March 31st

A two hour workshop on blues dancing to work on blues fundamental techniques in one session. Interested in learning how to blues dance and enjoy going to the dances? Well this is the right workshop for you!

This workshops is appropriate for those who consider themselves in the introductory stage of their blues dance LEARNING. We are aiming for this workshop to be specifically for two types of people:

* You have never formally taken a blues workshop series in blues dancing before (but might have gone social dancing)… OR

* You have taken a couple of blues drop-ins and go social dancing but want to work on your blues dance technique more in-depth.

* Intro to slow drag blues with all the proper techniques.
* Spins and lunges.
* Partnering exercises in open position.
* Partnering in close embrace
